The method involves calculating a total amount of radio resources allocated to satellite terminals (320), and calculating a maximum capacity of radio resources allocatable to the terminals (330). The maximum allocatable capacity and the total amount of allocated radio resources are compared, and a maximum quantity of radio resources allocatable to one of the terminals is calculated (340) based on the comparison. An amount of radio resources that are required with respect to the satellite is determined (350), and the required amount of radio resources is requested from a network controller.
