PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer system which can prevent printed character information or image information from being leaked even when an ink ribbon including a post-chelate dye is used, and can reuse a wind-up portion from the ink ribbon subjected to ink transferring, and to provide an ink ribbon used in the same.SOLUTION: An ink ribbon includes a base material layer, an ink layer provided on one surface of the base material layer, and a back surface layer provided on the surface opposite to the one surface of the base material layer on which the ink layer is provided. The back surface layer is patterned with at least two layers wherein the transfers of the ink of the ink layers are different. |
