METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATMENT OF KILN EXHAUST GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment method for efficiently treating an exhaust gas generated in a kiln, and also having high effect of removing harmful substances, especially mercury, in the exhaust gas.SOLUTION: A method includes: an adsorption step of making an adsorbent adsorb harmful substances containing mercury in an exhaust gas by bringing the exhaust gas generated in a kiln 4 into contact with the adsorbent in an adsorption means 12; an evaporation step of evaporating the adsorbed harmful substances by heating the adsorbent in an oxygen-containing atmosphere using an evaporator 13 for separation from the adsorbent; a mercury removing step of aggregating and removing the mercury by cooling a vapor containing the evaporated harmful substances with a cooler 15; a gas decomposition step of combusting and decomposing the remaining harmful substances by supplying the gas after removing the mercury to the kiln 4, and the gas after thermal decomposition.
