PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper ejecting device of a printer capable of avoiding the collapse of a printing image on printing paper by avoiding the rubbing of the printing paper, and also avoiding a curl phenomenon, and to improve a stacking state in a paper receiving part.SOLUTION: An ejection device 43 for dropping the printed printing paper of a downward attitude carried by a carrying device to a paper receiving part 35 is arranged substantially above the paper receiving part 35. The ejection device 43 has a pair of suction carrier belt devices 75 arranged in parallel to the carrying direction of the printed printing paper and carrying while sucking the carried printed printing paper, rotary devices 79 and 80 for rotating the pair of suction carrier belt devices 75 so that suction surfaces are mutually opposed to the carrying direction, and a detecting device 81 for detecting the tip of the printed printing paper in a downstream part. The ejection device 43 rotates the pair of suction carrier belt devices 75 by the rotary devices 79 and 80 so that the suction surfaces are mutually opposed to the carrying direction when the tip of the printed printing paper is detected by the detecting device 81. |
