PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower having low noise without reducing productivity.SOLUTION: An electric blower comprises: an armature unit including a rotary shaft 3, an armature core, an armature winding, and a commutator 16; a field unit including a field core and a field winding; an anti-load side bracket 10 incorporating the armature unit and the field unit; a holder 21 having an insertion part 25 into which a deformed pipe 24 storing a carbon brush 20 is inserted, and attached to the anti-load side bracket 10; and a casing incorporating an impeller fixed to the rotary shaft 3 and an air guide, in which a center axis 25a of the insertion part 25 is inclined at a predetermined angle &thetas;° with respect to a center axis 16a of the commutator 16. There is no need for increasing the types of the anti-load side bracket 10, allowing brush sound to be reduced while suppressing reduction in productivity and an increase in cost. |
