PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which a shielding member does not become an obstruction when it is not necessary to shield external light.SOLUTION: The display device comprises: a housing 4 for a device body, a display section 10 for displaying an image; a support section 12 for supporting the display section movably so as to be in a closing state or in an opening state with respect to the housing; a shielding member 16 for shielding external light incident to the housing; and a shielding member support section 17 for rotatably supporting the shielding member so as to be in the closing state or in the opening state with respect to the housing. In a state where the shielding member is rotated so as to be in the closing state and the display section is moved so as to be in the closing state, the shielding member is accommodated between the display section and the housing. In a state where the shielding member is rotated so as to be in the opening state and the display section is moved so as to be in the closing state, the shielding member shields the external light incident to the display section. |
