The invention relates to a shaft/frame system for high-capacity rotors for the treatment of wastewater for sanitation purposes and to reduce the organic pollutant content thereof. The invention is of the type formed by a drive shaft provided with end supports for coupling same to a drive motor and comprising a plurality of intermediate annular collars and two end annular collars arranged equidistantly from one another. The aforementioned collars can receive a plurality of radially-arranged structural arms in a fixed manner. The aforementioned structural arms are substantially T shaped and are joined to one another to form rings suitable for receiving and securing therebetween packs of media comprising a plurality of self-supported biomass-supporting sheets. The invention also comprises strong coupling elements, with reduced stress on the T-shaped structure.
