The warning apparatus has a vibration generator for generating a vibration signal (vs) in response to a trigger signal (as) of a driver assistance system (FAS) according to a specific event that requires a response from the vehicle driver. The vibration signal is produced at a particular location in a seat (FS) of the vehicle driver and is sensed by the vehicle driver. The vibration generator is provided with two sealed vibration motors (VM1,VM2) for producing the vibration signals simultaneously in response to the trigger signal.
