PURPOSE: A navigation device and a route providing method thereof are provided to enable a user to predict in advance estimated time for each route where traffic information changing in real time is reflected, thereby minimizing driving time. CONSTITUTION: A traffic information reception part (120) receives real-time traffic information. A display part (150) displays the current location of a vehicle and a route to a destination. A control part (170) searches for a shortest-time route to the destination by using real-time traffic information provided by the traffic information reception part and displays the route on the display part. If the vehicle is expected to enter an intersection, the control part calculates and displays multiple drivable routes and estimated time for each route from the corresponding intersection to the destination.
