PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phenolic fiber nonwoven fabric that has high mechanical strength regardless of low pressure loss.SOLUTION: The phenolic fiber nonwoven fabric is obtained by making a nonwoven fabric with a phenolic fiber having a single fiber fineness of 7 dtex to 22 dtex, and has a basis weight of 400 g/mto 2000 g/m, a tensile strength of 30 N/cmor more, a bulk density of 100 kg/mor less, and an air permeation pressure loss per unit thickness of 0.3 mmAq s/cmor less. |
