PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed increasing device in which an input shaft and an output shaft can be arranged in a same axis line for water power generation, and a speed ratio for obtaining an optimal power generation quantity can be accommodated.SOLUTION: A transmission 4 is provided, with which speed of rotation of a screw 7 rotating by receiving flowing water W in an irrigation channel of a river, a cistern or the like is changed and the speed-changed rotation is connected to an electric generator 3. The transmission 4, as a speed increasing mechanism in which the input shaft 10 is connected to a screw shaft 6 rotated by receiving dropping or a flow of flowing water, and the output shaft 16 is rotated at higher speed as compared with rotation speed of the input shaft 10, is connected with the electric generator 3, wherein the input shaft 10 and the output shaft 16 are arranged in a concentric shaft, and the output shaft 16 is constituted by rotation speed in a range of three times to 13 times of the rotation of the input shaft 10 via the speed increasing mechanism. |
