PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device capable of switching between a plurality of operation modes according to a plurality of factors including an interruption from outside.SOLUTION: A plurality of circuit blocks operate in any of a normal mode, CG mode, DCG mode and power shutdown mode. In the normal mode, a clock is supplied and a first power supply voltage is supplied; in the CG mode, the clock supply is stopped and the first power supply voltage is supplied; in the DCG mode, the clock supply is stopped and a second power supply voltage that is lower than the first power supply voltage is supplied; and in the power shutdown mode, the supply of the clock and power supply voltage is stopped. A PMU 14 controls the switching between the operation modes of the plurality of circuit blocks on the basis of an interruption from outside, a user program, and the use situation of hardware resources. |
