摘要 Disclosed is a control device for a vehicle whereby acceleration characteristics on start-up of an internal combustion engine can be improved during travel. If a hybrid ECU determines that a prescribed time (T1) has not yet elapsed after termination of start-up control of the engine (NO in step (S12)), and determines that the hybrid vehicle is in a high-speed, high-load condition, but not during warmup (YES in step (S13)), it sets a value (Nupest2) larger than(Nupest1), that is usually set as the maximum value (Krmx) of the engine rotational speed elevation rate (step (S15)).
