PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor node capable of reducing a communication load where sensor nodes are distributed at higher density.SOLUTION: A sensor node 500 constitutes one of nodes in a network topology. The sensor node 500 detects physical quantity, and transmits sensor data representing the detected physical quantity to another node connected to the network topology. The sensor node 500 comprises: a request reception section 501 for receiving, from another node as a transmission source, a response transmission request having a destination set so that the request is received by multiple nodes and requesting transmission of a response; and a response transmission section 502 for transmitting the response to the response transmission request that is received. The response transmission section 502 is configured so that the number of times of transmitting a response is less than the number of times of receiving a response transmission request. |
