PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which, while restraining gas generation in storage in a high temperature environment and during charge/discharge cycles, improves safety in even a heat test at 130°C or above in a low temperature charge state.SOLUTION: In a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, a nonaqueous solvent and a solute dissolved in the nonaqueous solvent are included. Since the nonaqueous solvent contains a fluorine atom-containing aromatic compound and a cyclic diether, generation of gas in storage in a high temperature environment and during its charge/discharge cycles can be restrained, and a nonaqueous electrolyte which excels in safety in a heat test in a low temperature charging state can be provided. |
