PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push button device that can satisfy a request for an arrangement of switches in one row or a request for an arrangement of the switches and a light source in one row and requests for a reduction of button components in sizes and a reduction in a number of components and has more excellent operability, and further to provide a recording device.SOLUTION: A button 21-1 or a button 21-2 is pressed by a user and moves upward and downward. A fixing section 51 and a fixing section 52 for fixing a push button section 31 are provided at both sides of the button 21-1 or the button 21-2 so as to face each other in a direction intersecting with a direction in which the button 21-1 or the button 21-2 moves upward and downward. An arm 53-1, an arm 53-2, an arm 53-3 and an arm 53-4 face one another, extend from individual ones of the fixing section 51 and the fixing section 52, are connected to the button 21-1 or the button 21-2 and, by being twisted, support the button 21-1 or the button 21-2 such that the button 21-1 or the button 21-2 freely moves upward and downward. |
