PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet image recording device and a chart that can accurately specify positions of nozzles while saving a space for a printing region of the chart.SOLUTION: A chart 50 includes a density detecting pattern 51 and position detecting marks 52. The density detecting pattern 51 includes five different density areas A, B, C, D and E continuously arranged in a band shape in a direction Y. A plurality of the position detecting marks 52 are formed at the end of a density area A of the density detecting pattern 51 at spaces in a direction X which is an aligned direction of the nozzles. These position detecting marks 52 are formed by suspending, for a fixed period of time, ejection from the specific nozzles selected from a plurality of nozzles for ejecting inks to form the density detecting pattern 51 so that inks are not ejected to form ink-absent portions (voids ) in the density area A. |
