PURPOSE: A light emitting device package and a lighting system including the same are provided to improve the extraction efficiency of light outputted from a light emitting device mounted with a flip method by forming a sidewall of a cavity in a body with a step structure. CONSTITUTION: A body (211) includes a cavity (212) with a top part which is opened. A first lead electrode (215) and a second lead electrode (217) are partially arranged in the cavity. The first lead electrode is separated from the second lead electrode by a gap part (214). A light emitting device (100) is arranged on the first lead electrode and the second lead electrode. The light emitting device includes a plurality of connection electrodes (141,143) and a support member (151).
