PURPOSE: A method for producing bioethanol using microorganisms is provided to improve ethanol production and production rate. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing bioethanol comprises a step of reacting biocatalysts and brown algae under an anaerobic condition. The biocatalysts include a biocatalyst which produces ethanol from Laminaria japonica or mannitol and contains Candida lusitaniae LJH4(KCTC 11817BP), culture liquid thereof, or concentrate of the culture liquid and a biocatalyst which has ability of decomposing alginic acid and contains Erwinia tasmaniensis LJH3(KCTC 11843BP), culture liquid thereof, or concentrate of the culture liquid. |
