PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additional therapeutic method for disorders such as multiple sclerosis (MS) and demyelinating disease and dysmyelination.SOLUTION: The invention provides antibodies generally usable as antagonists of Sp35, antigen binding fragments thereof or derivatives. The invention further provides methods for therapy of various diseases, disorders or injuries associated with demyelination, dysmyelination, oligodendrocyte/neuronal cell death or axonal injuries by administering generally antagonists for Sp35, antigen binding fragments thereof or derivatives. |
