PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller which can suppress overpower thereby minimizing heat generation and noise, and does not need a hydraulic sensor to be added for suppressing the overpower, and an electric pump unit thereof.SOLUTION: A control circuit 21 includes an overpower suppressing control means 32 for suppressing the overpower by decreasing a current instruction value from a higher-level ECU 19. A control signal output means 31 obtains a motor control signal by adding a decreased quantity of the current instruction value obtained by the overpower suppressing control means 32 to the current instruction value from the higher-level ECU 19. The overpower suppressing control means 32 includes a hydraulic pressure estimating part 34 for estimating the hydraulic pressure, and a current instruction value correction amount calculating part 35 for comparing a target hydraulic pressure with the estimated hydraulic pressure to output the decreased quantity of the current instruction value. The hydraulic pressure estimating part 34 includes a plurality of hydraulic pressure estimation maps 36 indicating correspondence relation among current and rotational speed of an electric motor 4, and the estimated hydraulic pressure, which are configured correspondingly to a plurality of oil temperature zones (low, intermediate and high temperatures). |
