PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost conveying device capable of determining whether a storage article is stored in a storage destination of a rack etc.SOLUTION: A conveying device includes a base having a plate moving in a horizontal direction, a member placed at a first position of the plate and moving from the first position upon receiving an external force in the horizontal direction, a movement unit for moving the base and plate so that the member may receive the external force in the horizontal direction from a storage article when the storage article is stored at a second position in a storage shelf storing the storage article, a detection unit for detecting whether the member moves out of the first position, and a determination unit for determining that the storage article is stored in the second position upon detecting the movement of the member from the first position and for determining that the storage article is not stored in the second position if not detecting the movement of the member from the first position. |
