PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture display unit or a picture display method for displaying imaged pictures of the recesses of a sample holding plate, which has a display function allowing a user to observe or compare the pictures from various standpoints.SOLUTION: A region corresponding to each of wells is cut out from the whole imaged picture of an entire microplate. Image processing such as coloring or contour enhancement is applied to the pictures of the respective wells on the basis of the classification results according to a classification reference specified by a user, so as to create material pictures. The material pictures are sequentially arranged in the sequential order on the microplate so as to create a picture for display. The results classified according to different classification references are displayed side by side, so that comparative observation can be easily performed from different standpoints. |
