PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sub-nozzle in which injection pressure and directivity of compressed air is enhanced.SOLUTION: A sub-nozzle 5 includes a nozzle hole 45 bored at an upper end 44 thereof and formed in a cylindrical flow passage including a circular internal opening 50 and a circular external opening 51. A center 50A of the internal opening 50 is superposed on a weft insertion direction axis Y, and a nozzle hole axis Z is bored so as to be horizontally and upwardly deflected from the weft insertion direction axis Y. A center 51A of the external opening 51 is thereby positioned at a position horizontally and upwardly eccentric from a width direction center axis X. The area of the external opening 51 is smaller than the area of the internal opening 50, and the nozzle hole 45 is formed by a tapered surface reducing in diameter at a constant angle. Accordingly, most of high-pressure compressed air flowing through the width direction center axis X is smoothly introduced into the nozzle hole 45 to allow injection pressure and directivity of the compressed air to be enhanced. |
