PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hoist in which the heat of an inverter incorporated in a hoist body can be radiated to the outside in a simple constitution and high frequency operation can be carried out.SOLUTION: In the hoist driving a motor 41 for hoisting up and down a cargo by the inverter 12 arranged in a control box 10, a hoist body casing 21 is attached to an opposite control box side lateral face of a reduction gear casing 15, a motor casing 40 is attached to an opposite reduction gear casing side lateral face of the hoist body casing, the reduction gear casing is constituted of an aluminum material, an inverter attaching face is arranged in the control box side lateral face of the reduction gear casing such that the outside face directly comes into contact with outside air, the inverter is attached to the inverter attaching face, and a resistor 62 for regenerating braking is attached to the opposite reduction gear casing side outside face of the control box. |
