PURPOSE: A reverse osmosis composite membrane and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to be efficiently used in a seawater desalination process by improving the permeability, salt removal rate, contamination resistance property, and chlorine resistance property of a reverse osmosis composite membrane. CONSTITUTION: A reverse osmosis composite membrane comprises a reverse osmosis membrane containing a polyamide-based or polyester-based active layer and a carbon nanotube (CNT) layer bonded to the active layer. The CNT layer comprises either or both of multi-walled and single-walled CNTs. The CNT layer comprises CNTs of which surfaces are reformed with poly (vinyl alcohol).
