PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module capable of matching optical path lengths of a plurality of optical fibers constituting an optical cable, to a photoelectric converter, and to provide a method for assembling optical modules.SOLUTION: A plurality of optical fibers 22 are so disposed that a parallel direction in coated optical fibers 21 in an optical cable holding part 35 side and a parallel direction of ends 221 of the coated optical fibers 22 that have been separated into single cores become parallel to each other. When the ends 221 of the plurality of optical fibers 22 that have been integrated into a tape shape are cut off and fixed to an optical fiber fixing part 42, this configuration can prevent the optical fibers 22 from being deviated in the vertical and horizontal directions and being twisted, to thereby prevent fluctuation in the optical path lengths among the respective optical fibers 22. |
