PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically heated catalyst device, in which spread of electric currents in a carrier axial direction is retained even when cracks in a carrier circumferential direction generate in a surface electrode.SOLUTION: The electrically heated catalyst device includes a carrier comprising a ceramic material with a catalyst carried thereon, a pair of surface electrodes opposing to each other on an outer circumferential surface of the carrier and extending in an axial direction of the carrier, and a plurality of wiring lines supplying power from the outside to the surface electrodes, and electrically heats the carrier via the surface electrodes. The plurality of wiring lines is arranged to an axial end in the surface electrode, and is fixed to the surface electrode by a plurality of fixing layers. |
