A method for providing program information in a display device and the display device adopting the method are provided to allow a user to select a program simply, which is provided by an audio stream or caption data formed in language for which the user wishes. An interface unit(401) receives language information from a user. A program list providing unit(402) searches program information including an audio stream or a closed caption corresponding to the language information, adds the searched program in a program list, and outputs the program list on a certain display unit(404). |
