<p>This learning assistance server (10) receives response information for each problem, the response information indicating a response to a test problem inputted in a response input area (103) of a test screen; updates test progress information by registering test progress information for a student corresponding to the response indicated by the received response information; determines whether or not students with updated test progress information are associated as rival students by referencing rival relationship information; according to the determination of association as rival students, generates rival progress information based upon test progress information of rival students; and sends generated rival progress information to the student terminal of students associated as rival students in order to display the corresponding progress status in a rival progress status display area (101) provided on the test screen, the rival progress status display area being for displaying the rival student progress status indicating rival progress information. Consequently, a learning assistance technology capable of improving learning motivation for registered users (students), and increasing learning effectiveness, is provided.</p> |
