PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a web coating device enabling a surface of a coating material with which a web is coated to become flat and smooth.SOLUTION: The web coating device 1 includes a vibrator 30 disposed on the carrying upstream side of the web W relative to a coating material discharge device 10 and vibrating by elastic waves with high vibration frequency while pressing one face Wa of the web W to be carried. Thus this structure eliminates irregularities of the surface of the coating material S with which the one face Wa of the web W is coated by the vibration to make the surface flat and smooth. As a result, quality of the coating material S on the entire surface of the one face Wa of the web W can be uniformized. |
