PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device that is driven by a battery to display an image by image light, capable of expanding the life of the battery by using a battery of an external device, and capable of receiving an image signal from the external device to reproduce the image in place of the external device.SOLUTION: An image display device 10 includes a first battery B1, and displays an image. The image display device 10 further includes: a display unit 12 that displays the image on the basis of an image signal transmitted from an external device 11 driven by a second battery B2; and a power source switching unit 74 that is connected with the first battery B1 and the second battery B2, and selectively switches the power source of the image display device 10 between the first battery B1 and the second battery B2 on the basis of a relationship between a remaining battery level of the first battery B1 and a remaining battery level of the second battery B2. |
