PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning device having an indoor unit (10) and an outdoor unit (20) in which an erroneous on failure of a switch (K2R) is surely detected discriminating from the mere failure of transmitting circuits (11, 21) while improving durability of an outdoor unit activating switch (K2R) arranged between the indoor unit (10) and the outdoor unit (20).SOLUTION: An outdoor unit activating switch (K2R) is constituted of an A contact relay arranged between a signal line (S) and a power line (L). Input signals to the indoor unit transmitting circuit (21) are monitored by an indoor unit control circuit (23) and an erroneous on failure of the switch (K2R) is detected based on whether a waveform change is generated due to the signal wave for of a power source frequency component being superposed on the input signal. |
