PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an authentication server to communicate with an authentication client by reducing a load of an authentication relay after having performed network access authentication processing on the authentication client.SOLUTION: An authentication server comprises a network access authentication processing unit and an address notification unit. From an authentication relay connected to a network, the network access authentication processing unit receives a first authentication message which requests to perform a network access authentication processing on a communication device subordinate to the authentication relay, and performs the network access authentication processing on the communication device. The address notification unit notifies the communication device of server address information which is to be used for communication between the authentication server and the communication device, according to a result of the network access authentication processing. |
