PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus bar suitable for conductivity capacitance of about scores of kilowatt and a power conversion apparatus using the same.SOLUTION: A bus bar 10 disclosed in the present invention includes a protrusion 13 at a tip part of a body part 12 made of a slender metallic component of the square timber shape. The bus bar 10 is formed into an L shape, as viewed from the front of the body part 12 in a longitudinal direction, due to the protrusion 13. An outside surface of the L shape is a surface to be welded with a target electrode. The L shaped tip part allows, when a vertical surface of the L shape is a welding surface to be welded with the electrode, a part constructing a horizontal surface of the L shape to ensure thickness for welding. It is enough that the square timber shaped body part 12 is in connection with a part constructing the vertical surface of the L shape. A minimum thickness necessary for welding is secured in the tip part of the bus bar, and the square timber shaped body part 12 is not needed to have an unnecessarily large cross sectional area. |
