The method involves reducing a denture impression of a patient. A denture is placed in a wax base so that a complete pre-fabricated denture series in the wax model is aligned in a patient's jaw. The wax model is embedded in a cuvette, and the wax is removal. The purged wax is replaced with a plastic for producing the dental prosthesis. The jaw and palate plate made of plastic are put on before applying of the wax base on the denture model. An independent claim is included for a dental prosthesis.
