<p>A lens barrel is provided with: a cylindrical reference frame; a third frame arranged radially inward of the reference frame, and engaged using a first rotating-restricting mechanism; a second frame arranged radially inward of the reference frame and radially outward of the third frame, the second frame engaging with the third frame using a second cam mechanism; and a first frame arranged radially inward of the reference frame and radially outward of the second frame, the first frame engaging with the second frame using a first cam mechanism. When the second frame is caused to rotate around a cylindrical shaft relative to the reference frame, the third frame moves from the reference frame along the optical axis direction of a lens, the second frame moves from the third frame along the optical axis direction of the lens, and the first frame moves from the second frame in the optical axis direction of the lens. When the length of the lens barrel is fully extended in the optical axis direction, the first frame, the second frame, the third frame, and the reference frame are positioned in the stated order with respect to the side along the optical axis direction of the lens toward a subject to be imaged.</p> |
