The method involves automatically selecting a region of a body in three-dimensional image data (14, 18) by an analyzer. Property of the region is determined based on the image data, and the image data of the region is processed based on the determined property of the region. Processing of the image data is limited on the region that is selected and determined to corresponding properties, where the regions are processed based on the property with different processing methods e.g. different registration methods. An independent claim is also included for an image viewing device.
