PURPOSE: A vehicle card key and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase durability and to decrease thickness and weight. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle card key (100) includes a substrate (110), an accommodating member (120) and a battery (20). The substrate comprises an installation side (111) in which a conductor pattern is formed only in one side, and is mounted with every kind of circuit element (112) for wireless transmission and receiving with a vehicle, and assures a region where a mechanical key (10) is assembled. The accommodation member is formed with a stainless material on a region, and assures a hollow space where the mechanical key is assembled. The battery is used as a power source for the card key or a case (130) sealing the substrate and the accommodation member.
