PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift operation device that enlarges a contact surface of a cam surface and a pin part in a riding-on cam mechanism and enhances durability in the riding-on cam mechanism.SOLUTION: The shift operation device including a first operation body 2 that rotates around an axis X, a second operation body 4 that travels parallel in the direction of the axial center, and the riding-on cam mechanism 3 that performs displacement conversion of the rotational displacement of the first operation body 2 with the parallel displacement of the second operation body 4, wherein the riding-on cam mechanism 3 is composed of the cam surface 31 that creates the depth of the cam in the direction of the axial center, having a cam surface width in the radial direction of the axial center and in accordance with a circumferential angle with the axial center as a center and a pin part 21 that extends in the radial direction of the axial center and contacts the cam surface, and the cam surface 31 is formed to contact the pin part 21 in line contact over the entire cam surface width, is provided. |
