PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of satisfactorily carrying a developer to a brush roller, in a developer supply device using the brush roller as a developer carrier.SOLUTION: A developer carrying amount regulating member regulates a developer carrying amount by scraping a part of a developer temporally carried by a brush layer, and has a regulating member body portion and a regulating portion. The regulating member body portion is a platy member fixed on a casing, and provided so as to extend from a downstream side to an upstream side in a rotating direction of a developer carrying member. The regulating portion is provided at a tip end portion in an extending direction of the regulating member body portion so as to project to a rotation center axis side of the developer carrying member to enter the brush layer. |
