PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device improved in luminous efficiency and color purity.SOLUTION: A display device 1 is characterized in that: a lower electrode 21 is composed of a first lower electrode layer 21a provided on a substrate 10 and a second lower electrode layer 21b provided in that region on the first lower electrode layer 21a which avoids ends of the first lower electrode layer 21a; an organic compound layer 22 and an upper electrode 23 cover the first lower electrode layer 21a and the second lower electrode layer 21b; and charge injectability from the second lower electrode layer 21b into the organic compound layer 22 is higher than that from the first lower electrode layer 21a into the organic compound layer 22. |
