The module (3) has a filter element (33) such as an odor filter element i.e. active carbon filter element, accommodated in a housing (30), which forms a part of an outer side of the module. The part of the outer side of the module represents a discharge surface for discharge of air, which is cleaned at the filter element, into a room. The filter element is connected with a movable part of the housing. A part of a front wall (301) of the housing represents a drawer front (311) of a drawer (31) for the filter element. An upper side of the module is closed by a lid (321).
