The vibration damper has a throttle which is arranged with connection of small container chamber (6) with the large container chamber (7). The hose (1) is clamped at variable clamping location (5), and the small container chamber is partially disconnected or completely separated from large container chamber by the separator (4). The absorbing fluid about the connection is pumped from small container chamber to large container chamber or from large container chamber to the small container chamber by the movement of separator and clamping location along longitudinal extent of hose.
