The method involves cutting chip board or oriented strand boards in a longitudinal- or transverse bar. The boards are turned and/or rotated at 90 degree, where the boards lie parallel to front surfaces. The boards are connected with each other by gluing such that cut surfaces (2') of the bar form upper- and lower sides of a wooden board (3). The boards are divided into 15 to 20 mm in particular 15 to 17 mm broad longitudinal- or transverse bar. Upper and/or lower covering layers are attached in a form of veneers on the wooden board. An independent claim is also included for a wooden board.
