PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device and communication method for improving reception performance of a CQI and reference signal.SOLUTION: A phase table storage unit 112 stores a phase table which associates a cyclic shift amount with a complex coefficient to be multiplied by a reference signal. A complex coefficient multiplication unit 113 reads out a complex coefficient corresponding to a cyclic shift amount designated by resource allocation information, from the phase table storage unit 112; and changes the phase relation between reference signals in a slot by multiplying the read out complex coefficient by the reference signal.
