PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide two-component developer and a developing method capable of stably providing high-quality images by reducing stress to toner with reducing specific gravity, improving transferability, improving developability and reducing an edge effect, preventing density unevenness of images due to stains on images and a reduction in fluidity.SOLUTION: A two-component developer contains a toner including a binder resin, and carrier particles comprising porous ferrite core material particle 200, the surface of which being coated with a resin coating layer 220. The resin coating layer 220 includes ferrite particles 230; and the average particle diameter of the ferrite particles 230 is within the range of 0.1 to 1.0 μm. |
