PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high speed of command flow control among individual modules and efficiency of processing.SOLUTION: A data storage device includes: a non-volatile memory for storing data therein; and a memory controller including a plurality of modules for controlling the non-volatile memory and executing command flow control among individual ones of the plurality of modules. The memory controller comprises: a command queue register for queuing a command executed by a first module of the individual modules; a credit controller for managing command vacancy information capable of queuing the command with respect to a second module that is a transmission destination of the command from the first module; and a bus connector for transferring an execution result that the first module executes the command read from command queuing means as a new command to the second module on the basis of the command vacancy information.
