PURPOSE: A display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to change the wavelength of the light emitted from the upper surface of a light guide plate by closely arranging light conversion parts. CONSTITUTION: A light guide plate receives the light of a light source. A light conversion part(600) is arranged in a groove(220) formed in the light guide plate. The groove is formed around a scattering part(210). The light conversion part changes the wavelength of the light passing through the light guide plate. A part of the light penetrates the light conversion part. A display panel receives the light from the light guide plate. |
