A method of enclosing PCB mounted LEDs (light emitting diodes) between materials in a sandwich like construction. One of which is a transparent or semi transparent material to allow the sign to be illuminated by the LEDs.

The LED sign construction is a simple method of encasing LEDs ( light emitting diodes ) and the associated circuit board(s). This is shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2. Figure 1 shows the concept in a text type sign. This text can be static (unchangeable) or dynamic (moving/variable) sign display. Figure 2 shows the concept in a shape type sign. The exploded view shows how the front and back faces are screwed together to seal a cavity for the LEDs and circuit board. The seal stops the ingress of water or moisture from damaging the LEDs and circuit board.
